2ND CONGRESS OF MEDICAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
The International Participation Medical Supply Chain Management Congress also paved the way for new practices and solutions with panels, workshops, courses, papers and publications on medical supply. In addition to training and information sharing in the fields of purchasing, logistics, inventory tracking, registration, auditing, financing and IT; It was an effective congress in which new products, services and technologies were exhibited in the health sector, where suppliers and users came together.
Within the scope of the congress, it was emphasized that all employees such as the management of the hospital, doctors, nurses and all assistant healthcare staff should be well known what to use, how, why and for what purpose, and the purchasing process should be started in this direction. In addition, the difficulties of supply chain management and about 40% of the hospital budget is being used for hospital needs was mentioned and the importance of the lean approach to medical supply was explained.
