This swelling that causes a hernia, appears at some times and disappears at other times. It usually occurs when coughing, standing up, or straining. In the 19th century Edoardo Bassini, who opened an era in hernia surgery developed an operation. In this manner, with the surgery, which is known by his name, patch repair began to become popular until the 1990s. However, over the years, it has been observed that the long-term results of hernia repairs are not at a good level.<\/p><p>In the traditional methods applied, the patient\u2019s own tissues were brought closer to each other with a serious tension. After the surgery, this tension and severe pain caused discomfort and the patient was able to adapt to her normal life later. At the same time, the disease could recur in the long run. The desired efficiency could not be obtained from the results of these repairs applied with traditional methods. Thus, surgeons started to look for different applications in order to get better results.<\/p><p>Intercalarily, American surgeons concluded that the hernia was actually a problem of textural insufficiency with the scientific studies that started in the 1950s and became more detailed towards the end of the century. Also, they found that the surgeries performed according to traditional methods and stitching the patient\u2019s own tissues together would not be sufficient.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-39c6ef8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"39c6ef8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In addition to these thoughts, they said that abdominal hernias or inguinal hernias can be repaired with better results with a composite mesh placed in the area.<\/p><p>As a result of the theoretical and practical studies of the surgeons and with the new era opened after traditional methods, the closure, strengthening and repair of the hernia openings with composite mesh has been achieved. Composite mesh has a product design that is used today and is close to the ideal, and also its functionality. It provides the permanence of this resistance with a reliable and new tissue by providing integrity with the patient\u2019s own cells and tissues.<\/p><p>Composite mesh is produced using more than one different material as can be deduced from the word meaning. The patch produced with advanced technology, changes according to the anatomical area where the mesh will be placed and the type of hernia.<\/p><p>Consequently, most of the meshes used today for hernia repairs are made of synthetic materials. Composite mesh produced as partially absorbable can be integrated into human tissue. It offers the patient a comfortable process in her daily life contrary to the problems experienced after surgical operations in the old times.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
